Arvind lives with his wife and two small children in Delhi. His eldest child is 3 years old, and he and his wife also a three-month-old baby. Before the lockdown, he drove his autorickshaw. With the lockdown, he had no source of money. He called us and was one of our earliest cases marked urgent.
Today he called us. He told us:
” Abhi hum rickshaw wapis chala sakte hai, hamara guzara ho jayega. Lockdown mein hamari sahayata karne ke liye bohot bohot dhanyawad!” (Now we can drive the rickshaw, we will get through. Thank you very much for giving us help in the lockdown!)
From today, Delhi has relaxed some restrictions, and Arvind can ply the roads again.

Not only that, he told me that he came across a group of workers who desperately want to go back to Bihar. When I told him the procedure, he offered to register all of them on the state portals, since they don’t have a smart phone.
